Youth Enrichment Services (YES) is proud to announce that we have received 4 bib numbers for our 2018 Marathon Team in partnership with the John Hancock Non-Profit Marathon program.
APPLY NOW: If you would like to join the YES 2018 Boston Marathon team and run 26.2 miles for YES youth, please contact Bryan Van Dorpe at [email protected] for an application. The selected runners will have expert support with both fundraising and training. Runners must fund-raise $10,000 or more in exchange for a bib.
Last year’s 2017 Boston Marathon team raised over $40,000 which gave Boston youth access to essential enrichment and leadership programming at YES. YES programs offer Boston youth new experiences in the outdoors and through career exploration and college preparation, helping them build confidence and the leadership skills necessary to succeed in school, work, and life.
If you have qualified for the Boston Marathon or have obtained a bib number through another source and would like to run for YES – contact us at [email protected].
Why should you run the Boston Marathon for Youth Enrichment Services? Why don’t you ask some of our previous Marathon runners…
“I decided to run the Boston Marathon for YES because I want to give Boston youth new character-building experiences and empower future generations with an appreciation of the great outdoors, physical play, and nature”
~ Stephen Nock, 2017 Boston Marathon team
“I ran for YES because I really believe in their mission – to provide kids with new opportunities to learn and to grow is something that is crucial to personal development. The whole Boston Marathon has been quite the experience and I’m really glad I was able to accomplish this feat and dream of mine with YES.”
~ Michelle Chin, 2016 Boston Marathon team
“I decided to join Team YES so I could help give all youth – regardless of their background – access to new outdoor experiences.”
~ Melanie Cybriwsky, 2017 Boston Marathon team
A big thank you to John Hancock for supporting Team YES!
