YES serves a core group 8-18 year olds we call Yes Kids. Yes Kids participate in our programs as individuals. Many began their involvement as part of an Agency that used our services, but just as many have joined on the word of a family member, friend, or alumnus.

Yes Kids take our programs seriously. For all YES participants, there are crystal-clear rules. If they are not adhered to, students lose the privilege of participation in our activities. For more involved kids, we have a system of increasing responsibility. A good YES Kid becomes a weekly Junior Volunteer, who becomes a ski mechanic, who becomes a ski or snowboard instructor. After training with us, we are often able to place our participants in jobs at local stores, businesses, and the service industry.

Our Impact? YES programs have facilitated success experiences, taught job readiness skills, and inspired teamwork. Harvard Business School recently evaluated the socioeconomic impact of YES on Boston youth and found...

Yes Kid Requirements:

• Ages 8-18
• Obey YES Responsibility Code
• Must complete Parent/Child Orientation
• Must attend pre-trip Meetings/Equipment fittings.

youth enrichment services brings together young people who want to do activities in the outdoors. Skiing, snowboarding, biking, and camping trips are on our year-round calendar. We provide the equipment and strong supervision; all of our trips are led by trained adult volunteers.

Biking day trips leave promptly at 7:30 AM (overnights leave at 5:30 PM on Fridays). If your child is late and misses the trip, a refund will not be provided. Your child must attend a pre-trip orientation at YES every time he or she goes on a trip. Fill out the enclosed permission slip and send it to YES. You must call us each week to sign up for trips. Payment in full is the only way to guarantee a spot on the trip.

The cost of our trips includes equipment, lessons, and transportation (you must provide lunch and snacks). Payment is due three days before the trip. Sorry, we cannot accept personal checks, only money orders or cash.

Please remember, you will have to bring your child to YES at 7:30 AM on the morning of the trip, or by 5:30 PM on Fridays for overnight camping trips. There are no refunds or credits.
