YES relies on your donations to serve over 1,500 inner-city Boston kids and teens each year. We can’t do it without you! You may leave your gift unrestricted to allow YES to use it where it is most urgently needed or you may designate it to benefit a specific program.
$35 provides one youth with warm winter apparel and safety equipment (gloves, hat, and ski goggles) for skiing and snowboarding with YES’s Operation SnowSports program.
$75 provides three kids with transportation to a New England mountain resort for a day of skiing with YES’s Operation SnowSports program.
$150 gives two youth a chance to experience the thrill of rock climbing in YES’s Outdoor Adventure summer program.
$250 provides 10 inner-city kids with coaching and instruction in the YES Track & Field program for an entire summer.
$375 sponsors two middle school girls to attend YES’s Girls Outdoor Adventure Leaders summer camp for one week.
$500 brings five teens out of the city and introduces them to the beauty of the Berkshires for a weekend of camping, hiking, and canoeing with YES.
$1,200 gives one high school student a 6-week paid summer internship (and often their first job!) in YES’s Career Exploration program.
$2,000 sponsors 50 kids and teens (including transportation, lift tickets, lessons, and equipment) for a day of skiing or snowboarding in YES’s Operation SnowSports program.
Any amount donated to the Richard Williams Memorial Scholarship will help YES support aspiring college students with a commitment to their community
