Outdoor Adventure
Challenge and inspiration in the great outdoors
When the weather turns warm, YES’s Outdoor Adventure program kicks into gear. From April through October, YES’s Outdoor Adventure program serves over 600 youth from both agency groups and YES Kids on weekdays and select weekends.
YES’s Teen Night Adventures provides a similar roster of outdoor excursions, but all events are scheduled at night to accommodate teenagers that work or study during summer days.

Summer day-trip destinations include bicycling Wompatuck State Park in Hingham and kayaking in the Charles River. For weekend camping trips, YES heads west to Swann Lodge, a turn-of-the-century house and barn nestled in the green hills of the Berkshire Mountains.
