Outdoor Adventure- Summer 2013
Please read through all the instructions and forms before submitting.
Completed registration packets will be accepted beginning April 22 for income eligible families (families at or below the state median income). Incomplete registration packets will not be accepted. For those applying for income eligible slots, proof of income or assistance must be submitted with the application. Completed packets can be hand delivered, mailed, emailed, or faxed to the YES office with original signatures.
Non-income eligible families can begin submitting registration packets on May 22. Families applying for income eligible slots have until May 22 to submit their applications. After May 22, all slots will be filled based on the order in which applications are received.
About Outdoor Adventure
Outdoor Adventure Sessions: Participants join YES for a full week of programming that includes kayaking on Mondays, rock climbing or mountain biking on Tuesdays, a field day on Wednesdays, and a 2-night overnight at YES’s Swann Lodge. On Monday and Tuesday, programming will run between 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Youth will arrive Wednesday morning for field day and return to Boston Friday by 4:00 PM.
Outdoor Adventure Intensives: Participants join YES for up to a full week of programming that focuses on a specific skill or activity for the duration of the program. Running from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily, these intensives feature activities like fishing, rowing, rock climbing, or surfing at a variety of locations.
